Data Deletion Policy

01How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your account or specific data, send an email to support@moretoremember.com from the email address on your account.
Please include:
- The email address associated with your account
- Whether you want to delete the entire account or only specific events or media
- Any additional context that will help us identify the right data
02What Happens When You Delete
When we process an account deletion request:
- Your account profile is removed or anonymized in our active systems
- You will no longer be able to sign in or access the Service
- Personal information associated with your account is removed where practical
- Event galleries you own will be removed unless you ask us to preserve them and transfer ownership
Once deletion is complete, the action cannot be reversed. We strongly recommend exporting any content you wish to keep before requesting deletion.
03Media Deletion
Event owners can delete photos and videos they no longer want in their event galleries at any time from the event management screen.
Once deleted from the active Service, media may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before being permanently removed on a routine cycle.
04Legal Retention
We may retain some information after deletion when we are required or permitted to do so for purposes such as:
- Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Fraud prevention and security investigations
- Resolution of disputes or enforcement of our agreements
- Tax, accounting, and financial record-keeping
Information retained for these purposes is limited to what is necessary and is protected by the same safeguards as other account data.
05Response Time
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within a few business days, and we generally complete deletion within 30 days of verifying your request. Complex requests may take longer; we will let you know if that’s the case.
06Export Before Deletion
Deletion is permanent. We encourage you to download photos and videos from your event galleries before requesting account or event deletion so you keep a copy of the memories you care about.
